I cant understand folk

Guys the mind boggles. Just log in and see a new profile set up a lady in my age and area. I message a polite welcome and hi. ( not too worried if i get a reply or not as i know what this site is like for the ladies) anyway i get a reply and after a few messages she asks what im doing. I reply in work just having a look . She then asks where i work and because i would not tell her if it was a her , she just goes ok goodbye then . Like ffs i know people will say forget and move on but if bacause you wont give someone all your details after a couple of messages. I understand some of the rants on here a litte more. |

You were right darling - you don’t need to give info out on yourself that you are not comfortable with and especially a new profile/unverified.

I didnt refuse i said playfully it was top secret. If i said where i worked or my line of work it would be easy to tell straight away who i may be . This was after only a couple of messages . Im sure after a couple of messages with any person on here you yourself would not be telling people your work address  |

Can’t understand people’s caginess here from the off , you could’ve given a general answer . Bear in mind ladies here take a chance meeting blokes , in the interest of safety refusal to say your line of work or etc will be seen as a red flag to a woman , fellas who refuse to answer very general conversational questions are usually the ones with something to hide , swinging is not and never has been illegal ,folks who act all defensive here will rarely instill confidence to meet . |

She asked for the address of my work. .....
I was not being cagey. And i have no problem sharing info with people after i have got to know a little about them. She hadnt even shared her name with me ffs. I had opened with a polite inroduction my name asked if she would like to chat . First question was where in wexford are you and i answered then wanted to know what part of the town . I answered . Then asked what i was doin i reply in work and because i the would not give location . It was Goodbye then. |

I don’t know what caginess is but I wouldn’t be asking someone what they did at all it wouldn’t actually have any bearing on any meets I’ve had. I’d see his avoidance as him looking to keep his personal life private. This place isn’t the safest to be telling people all about you when you don’t know them from Adam. |

Well I think you were right not to say where you work or the line of work you are in to someone you have only started chatting to.I don't anymore because I.made the mistake when I was first on here of telling a guy what line of work I was in and roughly the area. A day later he came back with my bosses number telling me he would ring them unless I met him.I brazened it out even tho I was so nervous that he would I also may have pointed out what I would do to him if I did meet and get my hands on his dick. Let's just say when he realised he backed down fast and deleted his account And no I didn't meet him but it made me realise not to give out personal info until I know the person a lot more. If someone can't handle me keeping my life outside here private then I don't want to meet them anyhow. Everyone should run their profile how they want and not be made give out info or pics etc until they feel comfortable. |

I would say the ones to really watchout for would have an easy cover story ready. Asking someone a work address 3 messages in os for more preditory behavious.
Swinging is not illigal, but we all have our different comfort levels with what we share.
