Galway is not that busy swing wise for the locals. It's such a relatively small city that the locals are nervous they might know the other person
But this time of year lot of tourists and people on holidays.
So maybe head into the city centre put your location on and see who is around. Maybe post a meet as well. Even if you don't get a meet Galway is still a beautiful place to visit so enjoy your trip
