By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Hi, it's my first forum post so I'm kinda nervous??. I'm just wondering if anyone has advice on the best places to meet them in Dublin. So far, I've met a few bit I want to broaden my horizons! I just adore being with older women! It's just the extra experience and their sensuality but I know some struggle with feeling sexy and I want to show them they still have it ??

Just a little tip... not all older women want to be desired because the are a fantasy, older, more experianced etc....

Now I dont know how you have been chatting to them but just message them like a normal person if you fancy them and avoid the cougar word unless you know they like to be refered to as that as you might put a few ladies off before they have a chance to know you

Yes exactly some older women don't want to just be a fantasy to be ticked off your fuck it list

My Fwb is 17 year's younger than me the age difference rarely comes up in conversation. He just treats me like a normal person and not some novelty because I am older.

Jesus lads some people get offended by the slightest thing. A woman mailed me the other day and refered to me as a "cub". Did I get offended? Of course not, it's just a word same way as cougar is. Everybody knows what it refers to in a sexual context. Op your best bet for a cougar is online. Very hard approach in a normal pub/club setting.

totally different context altogether. Using a non offensive word shouldn't decide whether somebody talks to you or not.

Why not?

If the person does.not like how they are addressed and choose not to reply then no harm.no foul and noone need to be offended

again that's nothing to do with it. If a woman is regarded to as a cougar and some get offended by the word, they won't reply to the message regardless of what he looks like. I have seen some say "they don't want to be somebody's fantasy". That's exactly what alot are on here. Fantasies of other people.

I still dont see where people are getting offended for having preferences on how they are addressed and who they reply to but sure we will have to agree to disagree

As an "older" lady I agree with this. Not offended by the post at all, each to their own. But it wouldn't attract me or quite a few of my female friends. Best of luck in your search OP.
