a wee town

Had an arai a few years ago, couldn't get on with it, found it noisy at speed, that was a chaser though. Stuck with shoei since.

On the other hand the brother swears by arai and has had 2 rx-7's

Shark wearer here since 2003

I think the old guideline still applies, if you have a rounder head an Arai will suit, if you're more oval then shoei. Shark and shoei fit me well, Arai and AGV hurt my forehead after about 10 minutes in the shop.

I wish Arais fitted better, they look great.

Navan

Normally go for a HJC in the 200 range with anti fog visor. Ride an early blade with a micron exhaust. Keeps the sound down. Also rode an cbr1000f ant it was pretty quite with the wind.

Lid arrived today and it looks fantastic although the fit not 100% so getting it custom fitted, also it was reduced £300.

Yeah I have an older arai and allways wear ear plugs so noise not an issue, the lid looks great.
