erm.... yes.

arguably playing the best football they have in years.

easily got through to the euro's

the public, except you, seem to like him, as do the players.

even though his english isnt great he seems to be geting his message across (and anyway, have you ever been into the country of ireland? the english used there isnt of the best standard either, if truth be told)

yes, i think you are being very harsh.

ateotd he has done what jacki charlton did and got the team to a major finals.

didnt hear many saying charlton was lucky, and arguably his english was worse lol

not really any such thing as a bad group when qualifying for a finals, in all honesty, and dont forget, as a nation, ireland only has 4 million and a bit of change, compared to 8 million in england, yet they are still struggling to get young players that are good enough.

do you really expect to be up there with the best in the world with such a small pool of players to pick from?

being honest with yourself, if the players were only picked from the domestic league, you would be down there with wales and scotland in the rankings, and with as much chance of qualifying.

he was brought in to do a job. IF he had blooded young players and had not got through we would be having the exact same conversation now, except you would be saying he tried poor players. his contract is up after the euros. IF it gets renewed look forward to having younger players blooded for the next qualies. if you get anohter man in, look forward to younger players playing, either way its going to happen after the championships, just be patient.

i dont like traps style but the man has done a great job. We where very unlucky not to qualify for the world cup and i think the team has improved alot. 1-1 With the check rep was a good result. They are very handy. We are in much better shape then england and much more deciplined. Our players play for the team and not the lime light. Consistancy is a rare thing and we have it. Sorry for my terrible spelling. Come on you boys in green.
