Private members bar closed today as a rat was spotted.

My first thought was Lowry but then I could be wrong lol. No shortage of them in that vicinity.

Presume the ispca requested that it be shut down for the health and safety of the innocent rat.

Surprised any of the rats showed up usually it's just get paid and expenses to sit at home. Although I'd be more shocked if they were found in the seats in the dail chamber rather than the bar

A few brown envelopes is the best solution to rats in the dail, standard procedure round there

Kilkenny

Parties have issued reaction this morning to yesterday's traumatic events..

Fine Gael commented that unfortunately rat in Dáil will mean tax increases in Octobers budget

Fianna Fáil have stated that rat has absolutely no affiliation with the party and rumours to the contrary are completely false

Sinn féin have said that under no circumstances should rats be tolerated and that they know someone who could deal with the problem

The Green Party have said its just another example of the results of climate change... And this would not have happened if there were more cycle lanes in Dublin South.

I heard about this on the way into work this morning, a "big fat rat" was spotted. The place is full of them every day so I don't see the issue
