....rest and patience...then after a day ..get a baseball... honest..stand against a smooth wall..place the baseball between yourself and the wall on the injured area and move till you feel it on the injury..this will help the injury ..as it increases blood flow around the injury to help heal it ..honest...and no.. the same procedure does NOT work for your cock ...as in to increase blood flow around it

This works! Do it all the time on hips and shoulders. Micro movements are the trick. Tom.

Or go to a professional masseuse/ physiotherapist and get it sorted in an hour for €60

Go to the chemist and get red tiger balm, it’s stronger than deep heat and doesn’t smell as bad, it’s about €5 but so worth it

....yup....l had loads of sports injuries over the years ..spent what probably was €1000's in physios ..then went to one particular physio .. absolutely brilliant...made me do a session with a baseball on the injury l was having treated...and l kid you not ..the tears and sweat that came outta me were no one's business..it was like someone pulling a red hot poker outta me..but it needed it ..big time..he gave me the insight on how to treat injuries without having to constantly go back to physios..so anytime l feel a twinge of an injury...roll on the baseball...it breaks up the knotted muscle..increases the blood flow around the injury..and on its way to healing...have never looked back since...hope you're keeping well Tom

Depending what the injury is put ice pack/cold cream on to get the muscle/area to release, trigger point treat it with a baseball/hockey ball etc and take ibuprofen.

When you try and trigger point do what the other person said and push against the wall or floor. When you get to the bit that hurts hold the ball there for a few seconds until you feel the muscle release a little. Then move the ball along a bit and repeat. It can take a few goes if you haven't done it before. I do this all the time and it does work.

If you cant get any joy get a sports massage. Others don't cut it IMO.

Good luck!

If you have a good electric shower, set to as warm as you can stand sit under it for about 3 to 5 mins to get blood flow locally and gently massage. Then cold shower the area. Repeat for a few days while resting the area (ie, light movements but no straining).

If you can get lidocaine pain relief patches they are useful to help reduce the main when starting to use the shoulder again.
