I believe a lot of people mistake fab from the real world.They talk of respect and standards but it's a sex site so very few give a toss about respect and standards.I see ladies complain about want the ride or such messages when they have things like I'm wet I'm this I'm that on there profiles and then complain when they get no respect.If you don't respect yourself you hardly can demand respect from others. |

I agree to an extent... Profiles, photos, and even status messages can be extremely explicit and provocative... And then the profile owner will complain about the kind of attention they get. It happens... We've all seen it and rolled our eyes...
But.... no means no. If those who do have risqué profiles get messages they find offensive and either reply saying they are offended or choose not to reply, they are just as entitled as anyone else to do so. Doesn't matter what someone's profile says... They still have the right to choose who they interact with or meet, and shouldn't be the subject of textual abuse for refusing anyone. Nobody is asking for that... Unless humiliation their fetish, of course, which is a completely different thing  |

Fab is a reflection of the real world.. The good, the bad and the ugly...and therefore responses or messages come in all shapes and sizes! However people here are presenting themselves in a certain manner to achieve various outcomes, maybe meets, maybe just a thrill. Everyone here has choices and everyone deserves respect regardless of this, and if people wish to debate in a forum about messages they've received, that's their choice too!

I have had some extremely hurtful, rude and insulting messages from guys that I have never interacted with,messaged on this site. One in particular who had veris from plus size ladies sent me a random message and the names I was called . Yes it's a sex site but manners cost nothing just like real life. |

Well i don't agree that fab is not real life. Its a part of everyones who is on it life, maybe secret and not spoken of but still a part of it we are all living it. It is a sex site and a place where openminded people fulfill they desires,fantasies and have adventures. I think same rules apply as everywhere else for respect,boundaries and generaly being a human. We all deferent with diferent likes and dislikes and a lot of people forget here what consent is. So if someone set explisit status it means they are inviting people to respond to it i doubt those ones complain about txts flooding in. How ever if status is not there it be good to check in with person if they actualy are willing to entertain... But its just me im sure everyone has their own opinion  |

Possibly the worst aspect of fab v reality is the gushing verifications saying how amazing such n such is I remember one meet her veris were off the chart saying her oral skills were unsurpassed and her body was on a par with the goddesses of olympus (OK I am using a bit of poetic licence here) the reality was not even remotely close to the veris. I went through the threads and unless there's been a huge cull by mods on threads I am at a loss to find the "every second thread" you mentioned I did notice however a lot of threads with women complaining that they are sick of being looked upon as sex objects on a site that is primarily a sex site. Go figure eh? |

Human beings are complicated, intelligent creatures and have the privilege of choice in who they interact with, both physically and online. I posted several months ago in frustration saying that this is a sex site and not a dating site, and got completely slated, and reading down through the threads the words sex site keep showing up. My frustration was that I was ok meeting for a social first and then move on if we were happy but not meet for 3 social meetings before any action. Respect is everything, meeting for sex is ok as long as people respect each other. |

This is very interesting! It brings back memories of being told, “If you want to attract a certain type of respectable lady, you must be a certain type of respectable gentleman”.
If a man or woman posts things that are perhaps, sexually graphic you can expect to attract the type of person who uses that sort of language. Don’t get me wrong, these men will messege anyone, but the kind of vernacular used would perhaps discourage the more cultured men of Fab.
Respect is always a good idea though, for yourself first and others second.

I think people on this site say the things in messages to ladies ( just reading the ladies comments here ) that they'd like to say to them in real life cause what's the worst that could happen ?? Why do people think fab is a microcosm of the real world? It isn't. you get the galahads saying "would you say that to a lady in the pub" yada yada yada well if the lady in the pub was flashing her pussy or was walking round with a facial (as per many of the photos on here) then yes indeed many people would. But generally (in the pubs around my area anyway) women don't do that so to conflate one with the other is just a huge pile of crap. |

It's individual prospective, some see it's a 9 other see it as 6. So we can't change much about it. It is the way and always be. It's depend on you how high standards yu have or how sane you are. Best way on here, if you don't like just don't look. |

First thought reading this was, why does one assume it's any different here or anywhere else. I say you mix with it and so you become it, in whatever world you frequent, here, there or anywhere. You make your own standards and people soon see them and recognise them.
