Hey everybody,I was just wondering if we had to bring back one person from history who inspires, idolise or motivates you,who would it be and why?for me I think Nikola Tesla for his dedication to researching and creating a free energy alternative for the masses, and Giordano Bruno the first man to suggest we weren't the be all and end all to the church and got burned alive for his progressive thinking...fictional characters also welcome just please put down what they're from |

Maria Sklodowska-Curie: smart and strong Polish lady, won twice Nobel prize as first and only woman on the world.
There are many women in the history who's role was important and changed a world: Mother Theresa, Maggie Thatcher, Coco Channel |

Whilst I might not have an issue with the rest, I certainly wouldn't want Maggie Thatcher back for anything thanks.
Mine are Bon Scott, Lemmy, robin Williams and I wish I could bring Billy Connolly back to about 35yrs of age and see how he'd disrupt the current state of affairs |

Anyone who manages to get up and carry on in relatively cheerful fashion despite the shit that life throws at them gets my vote.
I don't believe in putting anyone on a pedestal, we all fuck up sometime. |

"The comedian Robin Williams... Struggled with depression, drink, drugs... And yet had a kind and gentle philosophy to life that was funny and inspiring! "
I don't think he'd thank you
He chose to die rather than live with whatever degenerative brain disease he had.
Sad considering the mind he had
Be like me losing my mickey |

I think alot of people would rather that than continue living only to feel like they're slowly morphing into someone else and being able to do less and less about it |

A truly great man . Any other British politician would have caved in as the rest of Europe did during WW2. Some European countries should hang their duplicitous , collaboratorial heads in shame !! |

I'd say an upbringing in a mainly Christian based society probably has something to do with it for them individuals...but I agree some hardly act saint like enough to be using those terms....either that or you have to stop wearing the Jesus costume to playmates |

Frank Sinatra, I may only be 27 but he’s one of my all time idols. I live by his words “the greatest form of revenge is massive success”. In this alone I’ve achieved so much more then anyone ever thought I could. |

Like the girl who legally had herself euthanized because she was sexually assaulted and had trouble getting over it. The same argument was used that was used for abortion here, its her body, its her choice. The government of her country agreed and ended her life. |

He did cave in, and he went and sold britain to the US with cap in hand, and let them take over the entire campaign.
Didn't UK only end up finishing payments to the US the other year? and they will remain a five eyes country forever.
If you are a true believer that he was a great man, then you have to stand up and say that the UK always pays its debts and agree to give the EU the 50 billion its owed, and agree to the backstop and a mid sea border between the UK and Northern Ireland to honour the UK's previous agreements like churchill demanded the UK do. |

That's not true
She brought the Dutch government to court to have the right to die and she lost
She died by suicide on her own |
