Doolin in co Clare is lovely always a hive of activity and music and lots of sights too take in if you’ve a few free daylight hours

How about Westport, cracking bars, lovely restaurants serving the freshest seafood and a pleasant drive to boot.... Barring that sure Donegal is on your door step.
