Depends on how sensitive you are. However, both Jewish and non Jewish fans of spurs use the term as a battle cry of support for their team.

It's already written in the stars that Mo Salah will score the winner after going off injured early on in last years final.
I can hear the commentary already,.."What a difference a year makes, after the agony of last year's final, Mo Salah wins the Champions League for Liverpool one year on."
It will be likened to Brazil's Ronaldo in the 2002 World Cup where he was THE MAN after the dreadful 1998 World Cup he had.
And for anyone who doubts me, I predicted, here on Fab, the night that Barca beat Liverpool 3-0, that Liverpool would win 4-0 in the second leg |

It would be funny if spurs won, then Chelsea and Spurs would have trophies in london and arsenal wouldnt.
However, if liverpool makes the same mistake as city and treats the game like any other league game, I would be highly surprised. So I think they will win.
I just cant see spurs beating a full firing liverpool, and thats all I think we will see tonight, liverpool on top form. |

A snowflake.....to answer your question, no I wouldn't say so. My wife was Jewish though and a Spurs fan and have been to The Lane more times than I can remember over the past 25 yrs.,so I didn"t need much of an explanation of the term. I on the other hand am a Liverpool fan.

Mane baffled Neuer,
Porto was a rout.
3 nil down to Barca,
It never was in doubt.
There's no sign of Ramos,
And Pep is sat at home.
The Reds are in Madrid,
You'll never walk alone!

Genuinely think it's written in the stars for spurs. It reminds me of Manchester Uniteds champions league run in 99. Never know when they're beaten. Probably wishful thinking |

Barca 3-0
Haha I know man. I knew someone would respond with this. It was an amazing comeback but something about spurs run makes me feel like they will do it. Poch has had 3 weeks to prepare and I think tactically he's the best around.
Liverpool 4-0

"We've won it 6 times...
We've won it 6 times...
Champions of Europe we've won it 6 times!!!"
Yup.. Liverpool did it...6 times..a brilliant achievement in any clubs history..cause you see ,the amount of football to be played over the season to get there is the first place is phenomenal..and l'm saying this as a Man Utd fan since a kid but as also a sports fan ..fair dues to Liverpool..they've had their share of heartache when fans lost their lives following them in Heysel & Hillsborough..so fair play to them for winning 6...and it just goes to show how hard it is to win the treble with the amount of games that's played over the English season...the closest Liverpool came to winning the treble was way back in 1977 when they won the league & European Cup but lost to United in the FA Cup final 2-1... |

No one in their right mind would disrespect the families of those young people who lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster .
But what annoys a lot of people is they remember them every year .(rightly so ) .but they should also remember and have some respect for the 38 juventus fans who were killed .in Belgium in 1985 when Liverpool supporters beat them into the wall of the stand .killing them and an innocent English man just there to watch the match ..that is never mentioned ...and no criminal convictions .they were thrown out of European competition for a few years ....some Italian mothers sons never came home also . |

They literally have a plaque memorial outside Anfield, do a social media post in memoriam every year and the club mark it every year. Flog another factually incorrect horse though. |

That's the danger of not researching to have an informed opinion on established fact.
At least you owned up to it. Fair play. |

"Shit match to be fair. "
Absolutely was ..two shots at goal in the 1st half and one of them a penalty...but in ten years time people will only remember who won ..the score..and who scored..that's the way with sport...still there's only one team from England that have won the treble ...GO ON UNITED !!! |

That's true ! That Utd side was incredible to be fair and also it was a time when the FA cup meant something. Nobody gives a fuck about it anymore so a lot harder to win then. |

I'm a Liverpool fan but a little part of me was happy for that great United squad when they won the Champions League and completed the treble in '99.
As a fan of the game it was a great achievement and credit had to be given. |
