Trying to figure out if its just me being grumpy and maybe not suited to here anymore, or if people seam to be turning into arsehole here lately?
Im starting to find the forum boring lately! Its a place i use to love coming on for a look, scrolling through and commenting. Posts looking for opinions/advice etc where people could be helpful. Thats completely gone and only seams to be full of keyboard warriors wanting to belittle the poster, offering no helpful advice.
Is it that everyone else is getting fed up of the forums too and are wanting to cause fights? Or what?
Dont want to sound like a snow flake ( even tho I know i do ) but maybe its just me and I should call it a day |

Banter on the forum has definitely reduced partly from some of the formites leaving or just not commenting any more because of the trolls and sniping.
Like everything its cyclical there was a time here when it was bedlam, we got lucky for last few years I suppose?
But packing up fab just because the forums are dull is a bit of a leap  |

I wonder is it because of all the sniping etc that some of the people that normally would be on the forum having a laugh, left? Its hard to know what will return it to its glory days because it seams that most new pages being set up lately are mostly fakes that have no intention of doing anything here other than picture collecting. |

We go from "it's too serious" to "every fucking thread is spoiled by jokers" really quickly |

Yep, it's cyclical.
We go from "it's too serious" to "every fucking thread is spoiled by jokers" really quickly "
There is also an element of familiarity breeding contempt, taking a break from the foru every now and then from the place helps that.

There is also an element of familiarity breeding contempt, taking a break from the foru every now and then from the place helps that.

I don't read the forum very often so can't judge this particular one.
My experience from other forums is if you find it getting boring or samey then take a break.
A proper break

Some people use social media a lot it's just another form of it. they dont see a person on the other end. I'm guilty of saying shit to people trying to be funny but coming across as a dick. But if intentionally really no need. I know a few on here get off on insulting people on forum. It's their thing .

It appears to me that most people fancy themselves as a comedian on the forum and would rather put up something smart rather than actually answering the initial question. |

It's gone rather dull for a good while. I find myself browsing the politics forum more often, brexit never stops entertaining.
Anyhow I think it's mainly due to some great characters gone or not posting anymore. |
