Just for fun but I think it could be helpful to everyone to see the result.
What would you prefer to happen if someone doesn’t want to meet or chat with you in pm?
A) ignored as no reply is no interest

well if you ignore them that in its self should be enough to confirm no interest but as stated earlier men text same girls every two weeks copy and paste style forgetting they have already mailed in this cause they should be blocked simple no more contact...,miss car don’t block me  |

I take it if A, they have actually read your message ?. Sometimes women read messages, hundreds and don’t reply cos they are swamped. I prefer to be told personally. Only because I had had no reply initially but later did get a reply ( and a meet) during a later messsge. Reason given; so many messages I was just swamped and couldn’t think straight .. So I believe the answer will be different for men ( on a few messages from women a day if they are lucky), and women who get 200 a day |

B preferably as its more polite to at least answer but also gives a definite answer whereas ignore still leaves a question whether message was read or not. |

But I understand why women don’t reply to men even to say your not my type, some guys see it as a chance to open dialogue. Personally when I get B as a response I make a private note on their profile and move on!

that's not always the case. I have spoken to many women on here who might of initially missed the opening mail sent.

Just ghost me.
Blocking to me is for when someone follows you from thread to thread pestering you and you block them so that admin can put a stop to it.
I think I dont want to meet someone, never will, dont want to chat privately, disagree with something they posted, think something they posted is kinda insulting (but not personally, just generally insulting) then I would just ghost them and make a note of it and continue to interact with them whenever it naturally happened on the forum.
I used to block if I sent a message and didnt get a reply, for fear of pestering them, but then I noticed the site gives you a warning if youre about to message someone a second time without them replying the first, so I can just cancel the message if that happens. |

Who cares? It’s not going to change anything. People don’t reply for various reasons. I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve been chatting to non site supporters only for them to come back with a ‘why was your last message?’ and I just delete the message. It’s not rudeness, just can’t be bothered to get back into that conversation. |

Its not that I feel I a entitled to a reply or that no reply is rude...
But I am an enternal optimist and if I havent heard back I will always believe there is a chance......... I am still waiting on mail backs from 2016 |

Preferably B as it's more straightforward but would accept A B or C the message still gets across eventually |

We'd all like to think it would be B, but as the ladies get huge amounts of messages, that's unrealistic. So A.
So a no reply deleted message should be a fairly clear indication. Usually at this stage I put the lady on my block list as I assume she's not interested and it means I won't mistakenly bother her again. |

Blocking is a bit Fbook and kind of sad ,adults here so if no reply no interest. I dont care who gets up to what. I had a good teacher into this world without knowing it. So no reply or not my type. |

Posted the result there but since then few late voters and just realized never voted myself. I am usually able to politely say if someone’s not my type without getting abuse so I’ll say B.... so it’s a draw between the A camp and B camp. |

yeah but if they block you, then you have to be careful on the forum, if you quote them and say "Lol you idiot" you can get banned.
I get blocked all the time by people I never interacted with, so I have to check before quoting people anyway. My point really is, blocking does more than stop you sending them a message and its petty to do it to people for just sending one single message. |

Despite what the admins say it is rude to not reply....if someone said hello to you in person would you just ignore them? Although those same A) people probably would, haha
Understand why people may not say it cause sick of getting abuse for doing B) and when they're getting hundreds of messages a day but if they read it/look at your profile then they should respond I think and it might save the receiver of the message time but not the sender. If it's not read then you come back and still same after a few days, feck it, what can you do the chance has passed you by and keep on searching for the one |

Secret is not being personal with any comments, just stick to the subject matter and there's nothing they can say. If they get personal just ignore. |
