Every single one of their losses to Chelsea were in the UK, that is 5 losses to chelsea and every one of them in the UK and never lost to them at home. 2 of their 3 losses to United were in the UK.
It was one of the reasons behind pep leaving barca, he could basically never win the the UK and had problems in germany, so he wanted to go and understand the football there.
With the curse of traveling to the UK I dont think any barca fan thought they would win tonight, but they all thought messi would get or setup at least 1. |

I think people get carried away, Barcelona and PSG have both struggled in champions league in recent years. I’ve got no problem with people celebrating Liverpool’s great result tonight, but surely you don’t expect rival fans to be happy as well |

Respect and happiness are mutually exclusive. You can have respect for the performance and say what a win whilst simultaneously not liking the club/fans/klopp/the liver bird/the tea lady at melwood.
A bit like a few weeks ago..a mate of mine who is big into golf but has never liked Tiger Woods sang his professional praises for what he accomplished. He still doesn't like Woods the person.
The Utd side of Fergie... I always held my hand up and said they were phenomenal. They were born winners many of the guys in those sides.

We witnessed a truly wonderful sporting event last night and a magnificent occasion.
A few years ago Barca came back agsinst PSG it was an incredible night. One that was celebrated by all football fans outside of Paris.

I was out watching the game with my mate who is a Spurs fan.
I was absolutely delighted for him.
He was even crying after the game and it was a great moment for me to see him experiencing this joy.
When he finally calmed down after 15 minutes or so I raised my pint to him and we spoke about all the times we sat in a pub watching Liverpool v Spurs in mediocre games with nothing on the line and now here we both are in the Champions League Final.
Great couple of nights. |
