"Anyone watch it ....
Dont think I'll be able to sleep after this ..."
Had to watch something funny after it!
So shocking, was raging when the episode was over, full week until the next episode
Read lately that the grandchildren of those people are still showing the effects |

Started watching it last night and it freaked me out so much I had to turn it off and watch something light and brainless..
I remember all the fear of nuclear war in the ‘80’s and it brought it all back to me... don’t think I’ll continue watching it I’m too much of a wuss. |

Watched it last night. It's going to be a very hard watch over the coming episodes. Friends of mine travel to Chernobyl ever year and also take in kids for Christmas time. They are amazing people for the work they do bringing a little sunshine into the lives of these kids. |

It'll take 600-800 years till radiation goes down to normal in the soil, but I've seen people farming just right beside the city that was abandoned, HUGE carrots |

"Its unbelievable how many died from the disaster and still do.
And we are surrounded by these reactors."
I worked with the men involved in putting out the fire a few years ago. They were all dying. And when they returned home, and resumed their lives, not realising the risk, and their wives became pregnant, all the babies were suffering from genetic defects. So, the effects have spread far beyond Chernobel. |

Folks you gotta really see it in real life ..
I’ve been there 6 times with aid
Been to orphanages , asylums , people’s houses , baby orphanages .
It’s devastating
Something that will remain we me for the rest of my life
We don’t know how lucky we are |

Thankfully it didn’t happen
Once was enough

I watched the first 10 minutes of it then turned it off..thought it was going to be a documentary not a drama and a poorly made drama at that..people working on the chernobyl site didnt speak english in a british accent..its not believable at all..they should be speaking ukranian with english subtitles underneath to make it believable |

"all around that place will be comtamated for years to come. Anyone living in that area will die very horrible death and any babies would be very badly deformed . "
Actually around the area is thriving with wildlife now, there are deer, boar, wild horses.
nuclear fallout is more damaging to humans than it is to wildlife, and humans are more damaging to wildlife than nuclear fallout. |

Its fantastic! I'm pretty sure sellafield is the closest one we'd have to worry about..if your interested check our the vice documnetary about hunting wild animals mainly wolves and boar and catfish that are actually increasing I'm number due to lack of human presence in the area....also anybody interested should look up the elephants foot on google (nothing sexual)its the depleted and melted core of the reactor and most radioactive object on the planet as far as I know.. |

Didn't rain particals bring some of the radio active to Wales. I saw a comment on a group thing and children come over each year for a month to Wales also. It must be hard living with the fact you are contaminated by the way it happened. I haven't watched this i doubt i will. Just hearing the true facts from those suffering is enough |

Gods Own Country |
Just binge watched the first 3 episodes last night, my god what a brilliant show in the most compelling and sad way. Brutally portrayed and thought provoking... Now for work and then the rest of it tonight. |
