I've been pondering for quite some time now ... what is it I need at this stage in my life?
I've had some terrific meets from here and still in contact with some. I do not want a relationship but I wouldn't mind more than just sex. Don't get me wrong, sex will definitely happen. But I want to explore this country some more and incorporate this into my meets.

You're not alone, but most women will cut off contact if you are too nice a guy. If the first meet goes too well they can cut off contact too.
So most guys will just cut out all the "more" stuff and cut to the chase and it works for them. |

I have to like the person I am having sex with but most of them time we are both clear it is just sex.

It’s perfectly fine as long as you both draw up a plan and you both want the same things. Do you plan on becoming a Fab couple or will you mind if he still is looking for meets? Will you still be looking for meets? These are some of the questions you need to ask yourself first and then go for it. |

I think I know where you're coming from OP... You mean for your meets to include a little activity outside the bedroom as well as inside, right? That when you travel to meet someone, that they will show you around a little, take you somewhere interesting and have a few laughs. That you can say more than 'Oh yeah, I've been to such and such but didn't really see anything other than my hotel'.
If someone is travelling to me and we have time to spare, I love showing off my County, and vice versa. I'm always far more impressed when a man I'm travelling to meet has planned an activity or outing and isn't just grabbing a few hours in bed  |

Hope this is of value to you OP. I met someone off another site some time ago. Initially it was just for sex, which was amazing. Since then it has developed into a very intimate friendship/lover exclusive relationship. Neither of us could foresee how it would develop, nor were we looking for what we now have. There is an element of emotional vulnerability but we both feel it is definitely worth the risk. My point is things will happen naturally if your open to it. |

Wouldn’t say no to ‘more’ than just sex. But I guess there would need to be some time spent initially building trust and discussing both parties wants and expectations before venturing forward. I’m sure it’s out there somewhere........for those who seek it. |

That's exactly it! I've been lucky (or discerning maybe) in that the men I've met in other locations have been great as regards to turning a meet and a journey into an adventure... Whether it's sharing a bag of chips on a pier, showing me the best pint in town, introducing me to the most authentic Italian in their city, having a picnic in the Blue Peter garden, or even getting us lost somewhere and having to find our way back to civilisation lol... It's all made the meet even more memorable and special |

I heard of a guy before who was on a few swinging & hook up sites along with a map of the country & a little flag for each county conquered 
Not recommending but that was his strategy of travelling & meeting new people 
I guess, repeat meets with the same person with a little different flavour each time could work wonders too

Weekend meets are good for that. Had many a camping weekend meet in Wicklow, Westport/Sligo and Connemara. Some involved canoeing, beach fun, walks in the hills and woods too. Most ladies don't, but those are great meets imo. |
