"Is there a walk organised in every town or how does it work?"
It's not on in every town check out the site or Facebook page for where your nearest one is |

Its a group of people who get up before sunrise and they walk together and watch the sunrise in aid of a suicide prevention charity thats my undertsanding of it maybe somebody would correct me? |

this is my 7th yr to walk & for the last few yrs I ba e walked in different parts of Ireland...this year I'm doing the walk on the Aran Islands ... there are walks held in the UK, USA & Australia also |

Dont jump on me..
Couple of months back I was in a very very dark place more like a danger dark place.
First off people where amazing on here and still are towards me you know who you are..
Secondly I rang pieta house and it was closed doors they didnt want to know me. I obviously went else where with information from this site and also directed to other places from my work place amazing support from the crew. Everyone was so supportive.
I done a little digging about pieta house and I was amazed of how much some staff earn yes a wage. Where did the volunteering go?
Secondly most forums and social media and other online reviews.
I found most where not getting answers on the phone. They where also getting doors shut in their face they felt they where not welcomed.
So this year I am doing the walk for a local river search an rescue team. Who are amazing bunch of people and what they do for not a cent €- morning noon and night they patrol the river every weekend in case someone is at risk and upset etc.
So on the night ill be walking but not on behalf of pieta house I have my own Tshirt printed and ready to go..
just my opinion above

Darkness into Light ... only 7 sleeps away ... this time next week we will be getting up & heading to our local walk venue ... 120,000 people united behind 1 cause ... remembering those lost ...death by suicide a pain that never leaves ... walk into the light & remember those lost... |

Ngutted I didn’t do it as I’ve been so crazy busy but I’m going to do my own one for Pieta Hse next month
Corran Tuathail trek from Darkness into Light .... hopefully get a good sunrise |
