Hypothetical question here ...
So, you chat, send a friend request & officially make a few friends here online
After a while, you decide to touch base & send a message to a friend... just an observation about an update they made or a simple "Hi, how's Fab life?" etc
One of three things happen...
A. they don't open any message you ever sent
b. they read your message & don't respond
c. they read your message & then delete it
...what would you most likely do???
BE HONEST HERE...

I have a few friends on here and I always reply but I just don’t get time to reply to all the strangers emailing.
So I do bulk delete on them to clear my inbox |

Not to be picky here but, I guess I am.
I think most ladies take the "How's Fab life?" To mean when was the last time you had sex and do you fancy some with me soon.
Hence the replies may be lacking or vitriolic.
Just saying like. |

Not literally asking "How's Fab life?" but just general chit chat to someone who's on your friends list is what I meant... |

Nothing.
They may be busy, eg work or unexpected events or just wont contact me any more or they found someone more interesting than me.

Assume they weren't interested in any more contact and move on |

If I'm friends here with someone and haven't chatted in over a week or so but they online most days I just think, he's not interested so I remove from friend list |

Ah the post would have been far too long if it was an accurate representation of the process |

It kind of depends, with some people the chat fizzles out, with others it doesn’t. I’ve started to clear my friend folder now and again. If chat is an effort it’s a bit pointless. Also I can rarely meet people so timing can be off too so maybe I don’t chat with them as much as I’d like. Some chats I have are never going to end in a meet but I really enjoy chatting with the people anyway. |

Ah, you're grand so.
I don't know the answer.
I kinda treat Fab like life.
Just because I haven't spoken to someone in ages doesn't mean we can't pick up where we left off, however long ago.
Has been said about me before, no matter how long ago since last conversation was, it's like it was yesterday. I know that could also be construed as a bad thing too but I'm not for caring really. I am who I am. I don't do the Why haven't you contacted me in xx time crap. We are all busy with life so, hang loose, get on with it and be happy and friendly with everyone until they give you reason not to |

"So, women's answer is generally
"Not interested ...so move on "
Lads answer is "Have a w@nk!"
...and they say there's little difference between both genders "
The journey might be different but the destination is the same |

where the wild roses grow |
Im a bit like John in that my friends on Fab are in my opinion actually friends
Granted since I rejoined I didn't bother re friending most of them that was really down to not needing to! I know/ hope that they are still there for me and me likewise for them
But to answer the op, in that scenario it sounds like the friends list was closer to a fook list and in that case ,,, the train has left the station
move on |

"If I'm friends here with someone and haven't chatted in over a week or so but they online most days I just think, he's not interested so I remove from friend list"
Sometimes people may seem to be logged on, as in ,they may simply have forgotten to log off properly so it looks like they're here more than they actually are, but l've always been of the opinion that if one is chatting to someone and they're genuinely Interested in meeting ,they will drop a text first at some stage along the way ,rather than just replying to questions asked ...if only one is sending the opening daily text all the time ,then to me ,the other person has Absolutely no interest in meeting..it's my tuppence worth on it anyway... |

I just don’t add randomers as friends.. then I don’t need to worry about it.
It’s the same as them hotlisting me.. there’s no advantages to being my friend.. (I don’t have friend only pics)
But if it was someone I’d been chatting on and off and no reply etc I’d just let it go.. move on and forget about them. |
