If someone had videos of you naked showing your face and said he’d put them on a porn site and different places if you didn’t give him more.
He has your details, email, ex name etc |

As above report to the Guards. Or at least tell them that of they semd one more threat or share any of the videos that you will. Keep all messages. Its a power play once they see that their consequences are greater than yours they will back down |

Totally illegal, I'd let him know how serious I took it and warn him there would be serious repercussions if he didn't delete them. Warn him if reported all his devices will be seized, should scare him off.

Video was yrs ago and why keep having to leave here. He’s had multiple profiles over the years and have all the emails kept he thinks it’s funny and honestly don’t think I’m the only women here he’s done it with over the years. |

I'd call his bluff and tell him to go for it but also that you will be going to the Guards to report him.
This shows the prick that he's not controlling you and will make him think twice when he realizes there will be serious consequences to his actions.
I'm not up on the law in this scenario but I'd hope it's a criminal offense to do what he's doing. |

Make an official complaint to the gaurds. They don't have to act on it until you give them the go ahead but you can inform him that any copies shared can and will be traced to his IP address. He might might it funny to think he might hold some power over you but a copy of an official harassment complaint pending might snap him back into the real world |

Tell him you've reported this to the proper authorities and that his IP address can be easily traced by those in authority and they will come knock on his door. |

How protect are we with he law...
I've been (white)mailed over a video I was in unknowingly the couple threaten to post it if I didn't pay them money
I've try to find it on sites but can't see anything... Had to change my number as that's all they had but worried one day it will come back to haunt me

Most of these approaches are merely a ploy to get you to stay in contact/meet again/send more wank-fodder.
Call their bluff, you've done nothing illegal in enjoying a sex-life.
Report the profile to Admin, lodge a complaint with the Gardai and let him stew in the knowledge that he can/will be lifted for a proper interrogation if he tries pursuing his [groundless] threats.

I would suggest seek legal advice, citizen information can provide names of solicitors this would be (free)
secondly woman's Aid can offer confidential support, there is also organisations that can offer free counseling as I am sure the events have been.
But of course the best one to decide what to do, will be you.

advice from a solicitor & a call to women's aid.
revenge porn is illegal in UK but legislation still awaited in Ireland.
if the videos were made without your consent then a solicitor can bring a civil case.
although a visit by some leg breakers & removal of the videos may be the most satisfactory option.
if he is still on Fab I'm sure most people would be happy if you found a way to name & shame under their current & previous profile names. |

Asking for more under threat is illegal. I cannot use the word here it won't let me. We have no laws on Revenge porn . Report asap to Garda insisting they trace the IP address and prosecute anonymously. Stressful I know but unless you do this, this will be held over you for maybes along time |

That's an absolute disgrace , people that manipulating and deceitful are a plague !!! Report to the police and look for the maximum punishment for him that they can give . If they say they aren't able to help , then get somebody to pay him a little visit and make him delete everything in their presence . Hopefully you get out of this situation unscathed |

There is a few of these guys about unfortunately I had nothing as bad as miss Carr but I did have a guy say he would show all my family my profile and pics if I didn’t meet him I just blocked him and nothing came of it thank god. Go to guards, get it on record now.
The attitude towards this in the "west" has drastically changed over the past years. The threat is more than likely enough for the cops to go around and seize all the equipment etc. The cops will also be ready to have the video taken down from the sites once youre on record with them.
Also try not stress, easier said than done, but if they follow through on the black mail you can nail them to the wall by the nuts. |

May not be a popular option but I would try and fight fire with fire. Not bmail but there are v v easy ways to make someone less confident about their annonimity (did I spell that correctly  ). These people tend to be cowards and just like a playground bully they will shrivel up a fair bit when the table is even slightly turned on them. Awful situation to be in and I hope you get it resolved. |

We are sadly behind the UK with our lack of revenge porn legislation, but coercion of any sort is illegal. As others have said, report him. A warning from the Gardaí may be enough to make him think twice, or realise just how creepy he is being. |

Unfortunately i don't think it will be that easy , unless she knows who he really is etc.... or else the complain will end up in a drawer cause if she only has his online ID , the amount of resources to trace this piece of shit will take a lot .

From what I know, fab and all sex sites fully comply with the law and any requests made and have been instrumental in helping the law in some cases. This and other sex sites are not hangouts for predators.

I beg to differ. Unless he deliberately obtained the videos to use for future coercion, I doubt this guy is a criminal mastermind... Probably just an opportunist banking on someone's desire to maintain their privacy as a means of getting new wank material. So he's unlikely to be bouncing his IP across the globe or doing any masking. Tracing the average person's IP address isn't a big deal, it's only a matter of a few clicks. |
