A typical day in fab

Had some spare time so posted in various forum posts . Thought I was being humorous/ ironic but as usual most took it as gospel. Read some profiles and sent several polite messages, either deleted or not read. Had some fabs and winks. Sent thank you messages but these were deleted without response (why fab and wink then?). Struck up some conversations but these turned out to be timewasters/ hookers or men pretending to be women. Read all the backslapping veris from meet and greets thinking jeez... really?. Looked at a new batch of women and couples and assessed they were mostly kids, men or fakes. A normal waste of a day really. Still, I have a coffee meet to look forward to in 2 weeks time - oh and almost a week of 24/7 availability which will pass with the usual amount of incredulity and disappointment. Yeah I know exactly what you’re gonna say - fill ur boots. |

Sometimes I eat all the chocolates from the second layer of the chocolate box and act surprised when when my husband discovers this. Then I blame it on his mother who I know he'll never confront. Goodnight |

Tbh I think we all have unrealistic expectations for fab! I think if we are more realistic we would have better fun instead of tormenting ourselves about what we think should happen. If we find someone/some people we click with and end up having fun with, great and if not well enjoy the banter and the chats  |

Just look on the place that you have a slightly better chance of meeting someone who enjoys NSA fun than you would in your local. And the key word is "slightly", Theres just as much chance that you will be to be talking to a waster or someone pretending to be something they not for their own amusement. Great when it works, frustrating when it dont. |

Sometimes I'll just stop mid-laugh and look around the friends I've made, and think about how much joy they have brought me, or I'll be stopped in my tracks by the beauty of my lover's body in the firelight, and hearing the desire in his voice as he whispers my name, or I'll find myself laughing out loud in public places after opening a mail or reading a particularly witty forum post.

Yes, even online it can still be a daunting prospect to ask for such things.
Me and the make a wish foundation are working together to make that side of me more accessible.

I was dubious that my outreach posts were having the desired affect. But when the redcross got in touch with the data suggesting my posts could end global wars, I thought I should try.
Initial results are promising. The war in Syria ended. |
