Dont we need more of them in life? Wouldn't it be great to do them every odd month or so, we only live once. How many weekends away or holidays do you go on in a year?

Im usually quite content at at home.

Plenty to keep me stimulated with work, friends, hobbies etc....

I do enjoy the odd holiday, but I'm not one of those people who get home from one trip and needs to start planning the next...

Basically I am a lazy homebird

Had 3 dogs and it often cost us more for their accommodation then ours...but down to one old fella now and one dog so makes life easier

I suppose it depends what you're into. I have a busy enough life at home but heading away is good also.

Try and get one foreign holiday a year and a few weekend trips in Ireland. This year is Northern Ireland next month and Taiwan in August.

Need a break to recharge the batteries.

your imagination

I used to get away regularly... 5-6 weekends away in a year at the very least. But it's been a while now since my last trip, almost a year, and that's OK - different priorities just now. I do miss getting away from it all though... Or maybe I just miss the lifestyle I had... I dunno. Where's the bloody sun today?? I need some vitamin D

I think alot depends if you have to ties for eg, no gf/wife plus no kids, you can literally do what you want then.

It’s trying to come out in cork, more teasing us than anything though.

I love in the fine weather heading off with the family for the weekend. Got to do it a few times last year and it was so much fun just hanging out together. Much prefer that to a foreign holiday.

A couple of long haul , a couple of European trips, 1 or 2 Uk trips then maybe 8 or 9 long weekends away - city breaks

My ex used to go on piss up weekends with the lads. I knew it was over when I started really looking forward to those weekends
