On this day 25 years ago Kurt Cobain did away with himself!
Where has the time gone! 
There's alot of 25 year anniversary things lately.
What stands out for you from 1994? If you remember of course

Went on a week long camping trek from Galway down to Killarney and all I remember was Marty Pello and that song and the horse shit in Killarney was good craic though not a care in the world |

Great band! Great vocalist! But they were a metal band located in Seattle, incorrectly labelled grunge simply due to their location |

I'd say they were a mix of the two. Jerry Cantrell is certainly very much a classic metal guitar hero but the overall sound owed a fair bit to the Seattle sound.

I believe The Cranberries released 'Linger'.

Went to my first festival Féile 94 giving me a life long love of festivals. Crash Test Dummies, Bjork, The Prodigy, House of Pain and Rage against the Machine headlined. Went back to Féile last year it's a tad too civilised for me having a procescco bar instead of sneaking in a bag of cans. So I felt duly obliged to put two hip flasks in my bra. |

What stands out for me, i was 8 and gathered a load of acorns in the local woods and planted them behind the house. Now they are fully grown and taller than the parents house. |
