No I am afraid I dont.

Life doesnt always balance out, some people are dealt a shity hand from start to finish no matter how gracefully they accept it.

Others treat people like crap and thrive.

Its just life.

I do believe in karma.

Some people may believe that nasty ones thrive by causing shit, but in reality we don't really know what's going on in their own lives and heads. One may seem like a worst person in the world, but only that person will know why he's such a terrible human being.

Everything happens for a reason...

Right or wrong it doesnt really matter.

If you worry about others getting their comeuppance too much it can be draining, the same as expecting to be owed something after a tough time.

Best think to do it focus on your own actions and how you treat others.

Seems to me some people are born arses, live life like arses and bring nothing but destruction in their wake yet always seem to come out on top with no repercussions.

Karma has to be viewed alongside the concept of re incarnation. The belief is that one gets one's comeuppance in this lifetime or another one(even a past lifetime). I've seen some bad people do bad things and seemingly get away with it. I suppose the only way to sit comfortably with bad people,is to be unattached to the drama. Even the most evil among us were cuddly, lovable little babies once.

Very well put.

Also wishing ill on others makes for a bitter, negative mindset. Like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

You can't control them, what you can change is letting their behaviour get to you.

Is karma wishing ill on others? Or just a belief that things balance themselves out

Karma exists, but not in the way most people think of it.

Karma is't about if you do bad things then bad things will happen or vice versa.

It's more about reaping what you sow.

Example, if you're a dickhead all your life and treat people like shit, when you're time comes to need help there will be no one there for you.

It's not a cosmic mystery that balances things out, it's the consequences of your actions.

In my experience, you're right arses do tend to survive and strive... When you run into them though it's best to take the philosophical approach... I've also noticed they have reasons for being arses... Something missing in their life... A gap.. Or sometimes just a burning resentment against others mainly based in jealousy!

Believing a child getting knocked over is karma for something bad they did in a past life is hard for me to get behind.

Believing some shitbag getting his just deserts is some magical karma coming to reap a whirlwind of hurt, is comforting for me to think about.

It's just basic physics every action has an equal and opposite reaction. There's balance to everything in life so anything that tips the equilibrium has something to balance it out eventually
