Ireland scene Vs UK scene

Morning everyone. I am new to this in Ireland but attended loads of parties in the London. By chance a girl I was seeing brought me to a couple of crazy events in London. Does anyone have experience both here and in the UK. Is there a different approach or ethics?

I realise that there is way less active ppl here but what advice would you give a Irish newbie to get invited to events and meetups.

Thanks guys and hope you have fun on this lovely Saturday

your imagination

The club and social scenes are very different between the two countries (much more relaxed and easy in the UK, particularly for single men). Party etiquette is much the same, though I think parties always depend on the host anyway, so no 2 parties are ever really alike, are they?

city

Irish scene is more fearful, they are afraid of their face being shown or someone from their town seeing them. When you take a per population view of things, Ireland is probably just or more active, just its more secretive.

When I lived in France they were more open than UK or Ireland, I knew a girl who would go to fetish parties where people would be hoisted up by hooks put through their skin and swung out over people and stuff. It was just one of her interests like listening to rock for everyone else. No different.

Smaller population, bigger middle class means folk are less willing to take risks in Ireland with people knowing their preferences.

This is completely understandable and we should all respect this.

Ireland is still behind the times. It’s not even meeting people you know it what way famiywill judge you and believe me they do. I once met a uk couple and there whole family knew they where swingers and thought nothing of it. That defo wouldn’t happen here

I’ve been to clubs in a lot of counties including the UK , Spain , France , the USA , Ireland they are all very different .

I think it it’s down to the fact that different countries have different cultures .

I find the German clubs to be the better ones , better facilities and the price usually includes all drinks and a Buffett meal and the clubs there are much more inclusive .
