I like that u can turn off payments etc online. If I transfer money to my son's card he gets it straight away whereas from my bank to his bank account takes 24hrs

I should have asked in my initial post, but who told you about it or did you find out about it yourself ?

Used to use it then then while travelling one time it locked me out of my account and I haven't been able to get back in even when I reset it

A friend recommended it about 3 years ago before I went travelling in Asia and Oz. Worked perfectly until last summer when I was travelling and then just stopped

I use it for online shopping, I always have a few EUR on it, but I can transfer to use straight away, they say better exchange rate when paying GBP than banks.

I heard about it on Boards

Worthing

Just returned from a 3 month trip covering Dubai, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore. Had no problems. Tip if asked make sure you pay in local currency. And not in GBP. Just works out cheaper. Remember on the normal card you can only withdraw £200 per month cash in local currency from an ATM

I have it but annoyed now that I have to re verify my account as they don't take driver licence anymore due to Britain. Need to wait till I get my passport to sort it out.
