I know off fab topic but question on getting to Aviva stadium this Saturday.

I planning to drive down from Northern Ireland and wonder where is best place to park. Kick of is around 5pm.

Are there nearby carparks or is it best to park away from stadium and get Dart in.

Any advise welcome.

south Central

Parking and driving around the stadium will be a nightmare as the GAA finals are also on. Park up away and get the Dart is the way to go.

Terrible idea with games at Croker at the same time.

Plenty of on street parking far side of Herbert Park. You can walk through the park into ballsbridge. About 20 to 30 minutes walk depending on which entrance. Then it's easy to get back to the still organ dual carriageway and the m50 home.

Thats a really long way to go north bound, you would be better heading for the toll bridge and hitting the port tunnel.

But saying that, the best bet would be to avoid the m50, avoid town, avoid the herbert park trick, thats parking outside peoples homes anyway, and just park at the first dart station you hit on the north side, maybe donabate and enjoy the dart in.

Save yourself the stress, the dart is cheap enough.
