Identical twins come from one egg,
Non identical come from two, some women produce more than one egg and they can get inseminated separately at different times. Sperm can stay alive in woman's uterus for up to 7 days so realistically she could have had two different sexual partners two weeks apart and they both would still be potential fathers. |

There is a rare 3rd type of twin, semi-identical. An egg can be fertalized by two sperm its very rare.
I only know because the second set ever know to have existed were found this year in an australian womans womb.
They are a male and female baby sharing a single placenta like identical twins, pretty cool. |

Are you talking about a woman who decided to help her female friend to have a baby?
That lady agreed to be a surrogate mother but she also had sex with her husband and was carrying two babies.
