Outside Barcelona place called Sitges. Really beautiful beaches and on the train line. Best of both worlds.

Gaudi buildings were nice as were the irish bars

(I know, I know

). La Marina was a good spot to go

Just be aware of "the ladies"

on La Rambla and you'll be fine

If going to Barcelona, check out Baghdad. Better show than anything that I saw in Amsterdam.

Granted that was 20yrs ago and I believe its quite expensive now but it was great fun.

Likely to meet fellow like minded couples there also
