Do you ever read someone’s comments in the forum, think “that they sound fun” and then check their profile only to see they don’t want what you’ve got (be it, you’re too young, too old, too big, too small, part of a couple etc) and instead of having the good sense to leave it there you torment yourself by returning to the profile repeatedly and wondering how to get what you want because now you really want what they are offering!!

Of course! There have been one or two 'if only' men over the years. Ones who don't meet solo. But I respect that and just admired from afar. Currently distance is giving me sad-face moments every time I see one particular profile, because I can't travel these days, and he is someone I've long wanted to meet and would most definitely come out of 'retirement' for... I have to admit I have let the profiles on fab and the lists rule my decision making too. Let my own personal criticism of myself keep me from meeting what turned out to be some of my best times. I respect people’s needs especially if they’ve taken so much time and effort into putting them down. Desire is healthy though |

No it’s definitely not just you OP, and the restrictions on a profile are their preferences so in my mind they have to be respected so I try to refrain from messaging those that I don’t match with or sending a message to someone when the warning sign says “you have messaged this person before but haven’t received a reply back”.
It’s difficult cause you read the profile and look at the pics and say to yourself they are what I’m looking for and then read there age limit of 45 and that stops the message being sent!
With so few women on here and then add in their preferences it leaves the odds of meeting someone very small! Buts that’s life in general. |

You can’t just what someone’s tastes are like by looking at previous profiles! It’s not about looks! That may form part of it but taking things further than a photo on a profile is a different thing completely in my opinion.
