"What's your understanding of flirting?? Chat, smiles and sweet talk? Gentle kisses? What are the boundaries? When is it more than flirting? "
I am not an expert in flirting. After divorce I have to learn how to do so
For me flirting starts from the smile, then eye contact, sweet chat and laugh, maybe a gentle kiss... |

"imo when you've reached kissing you're past just flirting. Eye contact, smiling, cheeky talk..."
Kissing in cheek is fine
The flirting is over when kissing in lips |

Eye contact and a cheeky smile. The last date I was on, after a few drinks she pulled her chair closer to and as we were talking with full eye contact I had both hands resting on her legs and it was just natural flirting |

"It's subtle, kissing is not flirting. "
I agree 100% once you kiss the flirt is over. Unless you can't back up the kiss.
I'm not a drinker and never the first to approach. But love the flirt. Nothing better than scanning a room of people and locking eyes with someone looking at you. Then it continues and moves on from there, moving yourself to a position where your accessible.
Flirting is a great thing to do
It makes both people feel good about themselves and how they look. The conversation are usually very interesting as well.
I love it. It's a bit of craic and everyone goes home happy.
That's what it's all about |

Agreed, but all that sexually charged energy bouncing around up to that point is the good stuff. Once there is a mutual attraction it is a LOT of fun. |

I have a very limited understanding of it. I tend to think people are being friendly and treat them as such.
I don't pick up on the social tells like body language and eye contact.
Such is the joys of being high functioning and on the spectrum. "Aspergers" people just tend to think I'm really odd.
Trying to learn though if people do things like make contact via touch that tends to give me a very clear understanding even if it's just my hand. |
