A smile in a Cafè
Jump to: Newest in thread
For the first time ever, that I have ever noticed anyway, I received a smile from an attractive woman in a cafè when I was leaving, where we had caught each other’s eye contact earlier acriss the room during coffee. She was in company that obviously not her significant other (don’t ask how I know this, I just do) and I have to say it was a great feeling. I have no idea whether she was just a nice person or whether her thoughts were similar to mine but I’m going to go with my gut and say they were the same and maintain the fantasy
My point is, do others ever get this from the opposite sex and have you ever acted on it? |

"No, usually I catch them looking at my legs or my ass and they get embarrassed. "
And I think that is the problem in Ireland, if we catch someone’s eye we have a tendency to look immediately away rather than a smile and an approving nod! |

Its just a smile and might change someone's bad day;)
I smile a lot. It doesn't matter smiling to a crying toddler, sexy woman, handsome man or elderly person who smiles and nods just for being nice. I think we should smile more often. |

I'm the smile and maybe even wink type. If I look away it simply means I don't want to engage. It's like a firewall. You can tell a lot by someone's body language |

The cheeky smile always goes with the wild eye contact (from my experience noticed recently) |

I smile at strangers all the time. Specially old grans and grandads.
I'd never act on a smile though, I would act on a smile and a wolf whistle.
When I was 18ish A group of girls smiled at me at a Dart train station, it was a really hot day. I crossed over the tracks to go the other direction. Then they whistled at me from the other side of the track, and waved at me, and we started talking across the tracks, they asked me what I was doing said I had to go somewhere for Uni, they said to blow it off and go swimming with them instead, told them I didnt have any swimming gear with me, they did the old "either do we" joke, the rest as they say is history. |

I didn't go swimming with them and went to do Uni work instead, mainly cause I mean it had to either be a trap to get me naked and steal my clothes, or a piss take..
But what if they were being serious? At least I have the nice memory of being asked to look back on. |

I was walking round Victoria Square in Belfast a few months ago and a sexy guy was walking towards me. Our eyes met and we smiled at each other and he winked at me.
I looked back after he passed me and he has turned round to. He smiled and lifted his hand in a mock salute.
It made my day. |
