There's a lovely thread on the Lounge Forum at the moment complimenting the lady who is currently #1 on UK hot pics. As I skimmed the thread, I noticed the word brave popping up quite a lot. To me, the photo is simply beautiful, powerful and very compelling. The look in her eye to me isn't brave - it's strong, confident, defiant, and incredibly sexy. A woman owning herself and the experience she's been through. To me, calling it brave indicates that people somehow feel on some level that the photo might not have been well received, and that it was a risk to upload it. What is your interpretation of 'brave' and of the photo itself? |

Fabbed it what an amazing picture. For me I see her been brave by facing her battle head on and giving it the two fingers, showing her battle scars to the world and saying, "look at me, hear me roar, I am a strong woman"
I think people use the word "brave" differently. |

An incredible woman...
To think of all the emotions she had to go through from hearing the news she would lose her breast, and she came out the other side as confident and beautiful, this lady is an inspiration to all ladies |
