Condoms are not 100%. They do not prevent the Herpes virus or HPV.

I have always been checked out regularly it's not that expensive.

Totally. I've even had vanilla friends who I know judge me for getting tested. I often feel like asking them if they know where their boyfriends are on a Saturday night when they go out. Or that they only have sex with people they're in a relationship with. Well you know that could still lead to partners in the double digits over the years. There are very few virgins amongst us anymore and the risks people are willing to take with their sexual health absolutely baffles me. Hepatitis, Herpes, HIV, Syphilis! They all have worse long term effects than an itch or lump if left untreated

That is why I had to get tested and Continue to do so as things can lay dormant and stress or when you are run low it can turn up. As all of a sudden my ex and myself where no longer sexually active,I finally found out why,He had cheated on me at his Christmas staff party and had contracted chlamydia and then went on to get gonorrhea,So of course Alarms bells went oFF and I went straight to the Gp and said I want the full sexual health screening,plus I have already been tested as with getting the Mirea Coil it is part of it,to make sure that I didn't already have the risk.as pelvic inflammatory disease isn't pleasant,never had it,but I have seen the complications of it while doing work experience in the hospitals. So just because you think you are in a monogamy relationship you might be faithful,but doesn't mean they are.
