As a single parent myself I found the initial change a big shock but never be afraid to ask your friends and family for advice and support if you need it mate. It does get easier as time goes. Good luck to you and be strong. |

I am a a single parent two years next week. At the start is was tough but I actually find it easier now. The kids prefer living with one happy parent rather than two unhappy ones. Having a good suppport network is so important. Plus having time to yourself is as well. |

It's only natural to feel overwhelmed at first and it will have it's up and downs.
But over time you will get the hang of it.
And ask for help and support, as no one is truly alone.
Just they don't know how to ask for help.
I am getting on with my life now been a single mum of two, and I have learnt a lot more about myself.
And not to do things out of fear.As I honestly taught that I couldn't manage, don't be quick to jump into a relationship.plus you will get that pressure from some people, but then ask yourself is it from them or your own thinking.
Make the most out of been single and focus on yourself and your family.
Best of luck. |
