"The NOT meeting. If it causes us to think, whatever it is, it's always good. It may take us down a different path than originally intended but it's good. Nice one OP. " Thanks P! Yes... But I think us 'not meeting' folk are probably covered in there somewhere too among the chatters and posters The thread seems to have gone a little sideways... It was intended as a positive thing, an acceptance that everyone has different desires and that not everyone wants the same thing from Fab, but even in this people see those who's wants and needs differ from their own as a failure to fulfil their expectations. But even negativity has to be accepted, I can't expect those with a negative outlook to conform just because I prefer to be positive
"Poetry so good I heard it could be coming up on the leaving cert in a few years " Who says I haven't had poetry on the leaving already?

"And yet we all look for attention in one way or the other." Do we? I see my current experience to be more about interaction than attention. I have conversations on a myriad topics with interesting people from diverse backgrounds thanks to the Forums. If someone loses interest in the conversation and wanders off, I don't pursue them and want to know why. I'm not that needy. When I am free to meet and do want attention, I just drop filters, upload a new photo, throw up a few suggestive status updates and hey presto... Page 1 and a full inbox (it really is as easy as that). As for my forum posts, I like to get people thinking... If they remember the discussion or topic, it's all good, doesn't matter whether they remember who posted it

"A full inbox? Wha?" Somewhat of a fallacy I know, technically one cannot have a 'full' inbox on Fab. There is no limit, but you get the idea

"Why the constant need to label See... I even included you " I refuse to be labeled because of my distaste for labels..... . Great post as always

Also don't mean to diminish your post quite contrary, just saying there's a common denominator. Attention as per Oxford dictionary is 'the mental faculty of considering or taking notice of someone or something' respectively 'the action of dealing with or taking special care of someone or something'. Interaction says it sex and/or conversation is a form of attention giving and receiving. You could even argue trolling and time wasting is however it's a lopsided one.

"Why the constant need to label See... I even included you I refuse to be labeled because of my distaste for labels..... . Great post as always " Stop licking them then Did you know that the clinical term for a fear of labels is Pittakionophobia? It relates to labels and stickers rather than classification, but I just thought you might like it

" I know you didn't but your comment made me think and question my own Fab needs and experience, which is always a good thing sometimes we forget that our experiences and desires evolve and a label that may have fit once, might not anymore
