I love a girl who looks after herself and appearance it does look good when done right, but is it addictive? Iv seen girls who are very pretty but then ruin themselves...iv a friend who is gorgeous that has lips etc done but seen her recently she just looks plastic can't smile, it's obviously done to look good maybe a touchy subject but it seems to be the craze at the min, I know it's not a great post but just noticing more and more young girls even teenagers going over bored destroying themselves |

This is such a contentious one for me. On the one hand, I believe that it's your body and you should do whatever the fuck you want with that body. On the other, I hate that society has set such unrealistic beauty standards and fetishizes youth so much that a huge proportion of Irish women are choosing to go to such lengths. It makes me really sad, but at the same time I'd never ever judge anyone for doing it. It's a toughy. |

We are all fake to a degree.
Even guys fake it. Hair gel, nicer than normal clothes on a first date etc etc.
It doesnt really make a blind of difference to me, you have sexy natural girls and sexy fake girls.
Fake people get a bad rep from celebs who take it to the extreme and not just take it to the extreme but act a total creeper weirdo while doing it. |

right on que...im judging no one it's like the tits ass or whatever threads, I know it's not a great post but its a topic none the less, anyway no one is putting anyone down it's about a fake or natural look, and in my opinion teenagers don't need botox because they don't have wrinkles,calm yourself down no one's calling anyone ugly, it's a forum for topics, might not been my best choice lol

Not all do though. Friend had her boobs done and only went up two sizes as she was very small and they looked amazing and definitely not fake.
Another poster is right, the pressure on both men and women to look a certain way is unreal just look at any social media platform constant praise for looking a certain way and constant abuse if you anywhere out of the norm.
Even here I have received messages from complete strangers who I have never interacted with to be told "who would fxxk you, you fat cxxt"
Pick up any magazine they either are saying wow she looks great or OMG such and such has let herself go. I see friends photoshopping their pics before they post them on social media. |

All of these change a woman's appearance in some subtle or more obvious way. Is having a procedure done really any more fake? I haven't had one done and probably won't, but basically I'm pretty squeamish so that's my main reason for saying I wouldn't.
