It has never happened but I’d probably stay for a coffee out of awkwardness. Equally I’m always worried my pic looks better than I do in real life but they aren’t doctored. |

Arranged to meet with a girl in a pub about 3yrs ago. Blonde stunner.
Got there early, sat on a bar stool facing the door which was about 15ft away. Person walked in and stood between me and the door, blocking my view. Started tonlesn over a bit on the stool to see round them, mildly annoyed, hoping they would get the message. Then glanced at her face.
Heart sank. First thought was: ‘FFS, she couldnt make it and sent her big sister to tell me’.

Met a couple in our early days where pics were old..hearts sank a bit when they walked in..but they were great craic and we had a good night of socialising..kik chats eliminate this so it's not been an issue since |

i know a few local girls that picture amazing and with no filters but are no where near as good lucking in person. And then I know a hand full that in pics are just average but are beautiful looking in person, then there is the plain liars, and photo shoppers

I would leave.
But then I know what it is like to be stood up. So stay for a quick coffee and then say sorry but it not going to work out due to the oold or fake pic. Which obviously doesn't always go to plan. Get insulted called a stuck up cow and etc.
You can even have your genuine filter free pics up. And chat for a while and then be stood up.numbers of times.
It is a very tough judgement call.

It happened to me on another site a few yrs ago. Guy was supposed to be early 30`s, turned out to be late 50`s early 60`s.
He sent many photos & we chatted on the phone many times. We never cam chatted though.
He portrayed a totally different persona online & on the phone. Not only was it a shock to see he looked nothing like his photos I also had difficulty escaping him, too long to write here. Always vid chat before a meet or send live pics on Kik. |

Using decades old photos or photos that are not of them. I'd have no time for them. (Unless they where smoking hot. Let's not be cutting of the nose despite the face.)
But have been stung once or twice with the odd angle takers. But with them it's best to be polite and tell them they are not for you. After all you could see that the photos where of an odd angle. Manners cost nothing while wishing them well finding someone else. |
