Is this code for something??

Nah, but seriously Google is your friend in this case. Loads of good fitters in Dublin. Just make sure to look up the HRI scheme when getting work done on yet house. You can claim back VAT.

Tradesman here.I agree with the other posters,a wet room is the way forward.

More expensive yes but will add value to your home, are easier to clean and god forbid any of you end up incapacitated or disabled still functional for you.

Feel free to pm if you'd like to ask anything else.

In Budget 2017 the HRI scheme was extended to the end of December 2018 so its now gone.

Dublin 24

OMG That’s related to a fantasy I had last night.

We are doing the bathroom soon, my fantasy would be having the plumber in to the work on his own or with his helper, while they are working I go to the bedroom, leave the door open enough to see in, put some porn on, get naked on the bed, touch myself and maybe play with my prostate massager, after a while I see the plumbers looking in, I invite them in next to me on the bed, start touching each other and go from there.

Now seriously if there’s a qualified plumber here interested on renovating a full bathroom in the Dublin 24 area message me.

Wetrooms are good once they are water proofed and sealed correctly.

In my experience the factory outlets are a hassle, better off with a proper showroom. They have a better after sales service if anything goes wrong.

I would tell my customers to spend money on the shower valve, can’t beat a good shower, get the best you can afford. Then taps and then the bathroom ware. A toilet is a toilet at the end of the day and they all do the same thing same with the wash basin.

If at all possible treat yourselves to a thermostatic shower and not an electric shower. There is no comparison between the two.

People think all toilets are the same, but expensive ones are a lot better.

With the day of the large cisterns gone, the more expensive ones use fancy tricks to create stronger flushes so that only one flush is needed and they rarely ever clog up.

Cheap ones can take 2-3 flushes sometimes and clog up.

Someone gave me this advice and I ignored them and just got the cheap toilet, and its the most annoying thing I ever did. Hours spent looking down the toilet doing flush after flush.

Maybe a change of diet might help, ( just bringing a bit of humour into the conversation)

all over

Upgraded my bathroom a couple of years ago best thing I did was install a pump off the hot press to feed the shower with a mixer (not electric shower) best shower ever. Biggest mistake was putting in a shower tray and not a wet room.

.

Agree completely but you can get a decent dual flush toilet without breaking the budget.
