Ok, in seriousness, some observations:
1) Girls (single) on here get deluged with messages. The quality will vary wildly, so having a good message is only part of the solution.
2) Think of a gilr who has dozens of unread messages in her inbox when she gets to it and has to selext which to read. First thing she will see is the subject line, so this is very jmportant too so that you can stand out from the rest.
3) Dont message in the evening, when nearly everyone is online. Girls inboxes go red hot then and your chances are less or being seen. Try to ahortlist who you want to message and wait your chance to see if they are logged on at a less busy time of the day / week. Then they may see your message coming in and with fewer competitors, you may sneak though..
4) Try to pick something out from the girls profile or pics. Personalize. Show effort and actual interest.
5) And of course... cock pics..!! |

There's no one magic formula that works for everyone.
When I receive a message from someone I have had no previous contact with - I firstly check their profile.
If nothing there makes me want to know more about the person - I don't read the message and just delete it.
If the profile looks like it had some effort put into it, I may read the message [depending on my own criteria having been met in the profile].
If the message has made it obvious the sender has not read or understood my profile, the message gets deleted and the sender gets blocked.
If the message is interesting and makes me want to know more - I may reply.
Each person has their own criteria so you need to read the profile, see if what you can offer each other matches and send a message based on your observations of those facts.

Replying isn't about the message (for me), it's the whole package - message, profile, pics.
However messages that are just "hi", immediately asking where I am / if I'm free / do I wanna chat / do I wanna meet, explicit descriptions of what they wanna do to me, "great tits / ass" are 99% of the time an immediate delete.
Messages that will make me look at a profile to see if I am interested are generally a short sentence giving their name, what made them message me / something that caught their eye / a way they think we could be compatible, along with a face pic.
A good guideline is how you would message someone on a dating site or approach someone in real life - the same level of respect & manners. |

I do think women have it easier, and like most I rarely send a first mail
But....As per all the advice above it's not rocket science to send a decent first mail that will get a response, even if it doesn't lead to a mutual attraction |

Personally a message has to be more than one word/sentence. If you put some thought into the message, personalise it to my profile, include a face pic, perfect! I'm not asking for an essay but a few lines would be nice
The profile also comes into it for me. 99% of the time if the profile is very bare/has no pictures/has no profile pic I won't reply.
