"I haven’t read 1984 but loved animal farm. I’ll add to my to do list!"
I much prefered 1984... but maybe its because I read it at a much earlier age. Took me ages to get around to animal farm |

Favourite book would be Ulysses due to its sheer greatness.
Favourite film changes regularly but currently I'd go for Spike Lee's He Got Game. Much under appreciated in my view.

Ah cool, would be cool to see what they do with it.
Original movie was OK. Kinda hard to pull off a book like catch 22 and catch all the madness. Lol
On the topic of Orwell...
Homage to catalonia. Thought it was great. Easier read than for whom the bells toll.

Getting the proper Dublin accents in your head helps a lot I think. Don't think I could have got through it if I was on fab though, far too many distractions here. |

Book - A Beautiful Danger by Stephen Davidson Sports Photographer, it's mainly for the amazing action shots he has taken over the years capturing the highs and lows of motorcycle road racing and my copy is singed by Martin Finnegan, Ryan Farquar, Eddie Laycock and the man himself which makes it super special to me.
Movie- Ferris Bullers Day Off Lol, 1 of the 1st movies I saw on video at a Friday night club we used to have back in 1st year in secondary school and it gave me such a laugh and has stuck with me ever since......it's mainly a memories thing but still cracks me up, too cool for school
Saving Private Ryan would be a close 2nd just for the beach landing scene at the start and how close to reality that actually was, the rest of the movie was good for action but the plot to go save Ryan and get home safe to his mother as his 2 brothers died in action already and a whole platoon to sacrifice themselves in the process was a bit too Hollywood |
