Helloooo everyone, we are thinking of heading to Cork for a couple of nights so we we're wondering if any of you lovelies could suggest hotels? We are looking to stay in the city, does not have to be posh, just clean and comfortable. Also recommendations of good bars too
Looking forward to hearing from ye

The Lee hotel is nice as is the Clarion. In terms of pubs.... Really depends on your scene....so couldn't suggest without knowing. |

The new Maldron on the South Mall is worth a look. That puts you next to Oliver Plunkett St with a huge choice of lively bars.
Time your visit right and take in the Cork party swing scene![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

try Isaccs hotel or the Metropole hotels both on Mc Curtain st. Lots of bars on the the street and only a few mins walk to Olivier Plunkett st. Huge range of bars and eateries in the locality. Great city for doing a pub crawl and all very well run and great craic. Lovely people too. Enjoy guys.
P.S. weekends are best tho hotels can be pricey then. |

The Lee hotel cork city is prob the nicest in my opinion. Rooms are always clean and big. The beds are very nice . Bar is well priced and underground parking.

"Isaacs for us nice room not to big
Nice bar and restaurant
10 miners to rvc if you want to try that as well
Only problem on street parking "
Can't you get a 24hr deal in the Patrick's Quay carpark for Isaac's, like the Metropole?
We were pleasantly surprised by the fuddy duddy ol' Metropole recently. |

An ideal location if you don't have to go to the city centre. Free parking & as you said huge rooms. Family size = sixsome ![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

What's it like for sneaking extra guests to ones room can reception see who's going with you? |

For the Airport Hotel, reception is opposite the main entrance slightly to the left but not facing you directly. Its a large open area. There's two lifts plus stairs to the bed rooms. There's also a back entrance from the long stay car park of the airport that brings you to the first floor. One of the lifts (on the left as you walk in, is close to the bar so there's always people coming and going). The pther lift to tbe right is away from reception. In my experience never any trouble with people coming in. |
