So many posts complaining about things lately so think it's time for some positivity.
Has there been any positive changes within you since you've joined fab and what are they?
Mine are:
1. I've tried lots of new things and opened my mind a lot more.
2. Met some fantastic people and made new friends.
3. Improved my body confidence.
4. I now own more gorgeous bras and lingerie than I ever have in my entire life.

1. Found out my ass is not bad.
2. Def improved body confidence from minus numbers.
3. Discovered I'm definitely a cougar.. But partner prefers our age group so lots of compromising.. Lol

I have made new and meaningful friendships
I've become more sexually aware of my partners needs and wants.
I have learnt to appreciate the nice people on fab
I've developed a tick skin to ward off the trolls

1 made loads of new friends
2 had loads of new experiences
3 body confidence went from 0 to a solid 5 (Mr here)
4 got thought that my links are not to be ashamed of
5 got to share my love of bondage with the community
6 can look forward to many events and party's and new friends to meet |

1. My eyesight has deteriorated
2. I regularly get close to my phone's data limit
3. I've discovered that usernames containing Sexy/Nymph/Little/Shy often bear no relation to the actual user
4. My sleep patterns changed entirely
5. My lack of a 6 pack and a Sky remote make me a weirdo
6. The Naughty Step stifles conversations but increases perving considerably p
7. Oh and there are some really nice, genuine people here too  |

As above, and we've met new friends. It's great to see people on this thread being positive about making connections with people, many fabbers run a mile if it isn't totally anonymous sex.
And yeah, lingerie... second couple we ever met ran a lingerie shop and our Mrs is sample size! Happy days. |

I will say that I have been incredibly lucky to have met some truly beautiful people.... In every aspect of that word.
Being on the site has opened my eyes somewhat..... I think that I used to be a bit more naive and while I wouldn't say that I am sceptical now, I would definitely say that I am better equipped to spot a time waster.
All in all my experiences on fab have been good!! |

1. Strangers have reached out to offer help and advice when I was in the depths of depression

Great thread.
1. I've tried new things since joining Fab including having learned the true workings and understandings of a proper D/S relationship. This was something I never understood before and couldn't understand what others got from such arrangements or relationships, but now I know. Though I consider myself Dom, part of the learning process was by myself being a sub to a Domme. To fully understand the position of a sub then what better way than to be in the position or shoes of a sub, and through that I learned a lot of what I now know about being a proper Dom (none of this 50 Shades of Grey crap).
That reminds me, I must see about lifting my 'Dom Box' out of storage.
2. I've also met some amazing persons on here, some I consider proper friends. My first ever meet from this site was about 6 years ago and her and I remain friends to this day often having chats in the early hours about serious matters or personal problems.
3. Have had some great sexcapades through Fab
4. Discovered the forums on here and find it quite refreshing to be able to talk to like minded persons on a daily basis, about any and all topics.
5. Came to realise that there is nothing wrong with my mindset and that sex is quite liberating and that we are actually just living in a country of many backward thinking people suppressed by their religious beliefs or fear of stigmatisation due to not conforming with generally accepted societal standards.
Consenting adults (whom are doing nothing illegual) having consensual sex??? How dare we!!! Tut tut. |

Whilst in GC in october using the forum and getting advice gave us the confidence to try a few clubs which was very enjoyable, we enjoy reading about other peoples adventures especially GC for our next trip. |
