Most gyms have all the basic machines anyone has to get into shape (treadmills, cross trainers, latt pulldowns, benches)
It's probably best to decide what your fitness goals are, when you'll be training and how busy the gym will be at that time
Most gyms usually give out a free 1, 3 or 7 Day pass to give you a flavour of the gym before you decide to commit to any membership
