Here’s my favourite old riddle that no one I’ve asked has solved without a hint.
My family train and breed horses, my father and I do most of the work and my sister is competes in show jumping. We attend shows up and down the country and travel regularly local with friends and we’re all generous in sharing equipment etc. However, recently we had a problem when between us we had 10 horses to take to a competition, but only 9 single horse boxes, so only one horse fits. My riddle is, how do you fit 10 horses in 9 boxes?

One of the horse boxes is horse drawn, and pulls the single horsebox(with horse) to the event... But with only 3 people, how do you drive the other 8 horseboxes to the event? Its way too late for my brain. |
