So we are getting closer to the nations, first up england what a way to start with the points in the aviva against England.

I was expecting tickets to be tight thankfully this year they were in abundance. Who’s people got? Ireland for the Grand slam.

Looking forward to it starting. Everyone is playing well, so hopefully we can continue and get stronger.

England game up first is gonna be huge. Home advantage makes me think we’ll squeeze home but it’ll be very tight. They’re gunning for us this year and they’re a completely different side with both vunipola brothers as well as a fit again tuilagi.

I actually fancy us to bounce off them in aviva. We are a different beast.

I’ve every game pencilled in missing tickets for Scotland but I’ll have them by end of week I’d imagine.

I hope you’re right. I think if you compare their best XV and ours on paper then it’s an incredibly close call. Our huge point of difference is when you compare the two coaching teams. Schmidt is miles ahead!

I wouldn’t imagine so. Corporates cut from 18k to 12k makes 6k more tickets then we’ve ever had.

John try the Scottish rfu site for tickets in our club if u cannot use the ticket u have to offer it for sale to another member all tickets are numbered and our allocation are all together so its noticed if a stranger is in the club allocated seat

Clubs don’t get away tickets.

Unfortunately not. Had to cut back on a lot of things recently.

We tried for them when they did the general sale of the returned tickets but only one of us managed to get a ticket.

Ah it'll be good to be in Edinburgh for it at least.

Some clubs sell there away tickets to corporate clients at exaggerated prices to fundraise for the club and in our club 4 tickets go to our main sponsor for playing for 20 years and on the committee for 10 i have tickets for all 5 matches lol

I get all home games as our company is 1 of 2 main sponsors. Away games are issued from the home Union I sourced me welsh tickets through Bala RFC I’ve a best mate who is working with the IRFU and makes a nice profit from sales.

Well as i said i was ticket secretary for my club for 5 years and in september you fill out the away sheet and send it to the leinster branch office in donnybrook stating how many u want and u will be guaranteed some at least if club is going on an away tour u can ask for more i think landsdowne must have sold their tickets for profit and not to their members i also was club President so i do know what i am talking about
