Thinking of getting some spring sun in this year to help banish the winter blues.
I hear the algarve is nice. Can anyone recommend beach front accomation in Portomao or alboofuria?
Anything nice to do other than drink as I am battleing that demon on a separate front.

I stayed in 'Aqua Pedra Dos Bicos' hotel in Albufeira in April 2017. It's a fantastic hotel and it's adults only so no kids running around wrecking your head.
If I remember right it was about €420 for 4 nights so not the cheapest but that was for a room on my own with a sea view.
Last year in May I spent 4 nights in Alvor and stayed in the 'Pestana Dom Joao' hotel.
Again, sea view room on my own for around €400.
Alvor is lovely. Nice and quiet and none of the madness of Albufeira. |
