So the theory goes nice guys finish last... (in a sexual sense surely thats a good thing)
But the question is I suppose is being too nice a turn off for many?
The Irish do struggle with taking a compliment. |

I read an article years ago about the nice guy/bad boy thing.
Seemingly a nice guy will try to be a friend first and hope something develops, where as a bad boy will straight up let you know he's interested in you sexually.
So the theory goes, if you act as her friend she will see you as her friend, but if you act like you're interested in her sexually, she will see you as a potential sexual partner.
I don't know if there's much truth in this but it does make a bit of sense. |

I didn't say it was true, it's just a theory I read.
I think the point was more that the bad boy personality interests women (not all) more than the nice guy. And if he's interested too, he will act on it and not be a 'friend' so to speak. |

I complimented a woman before on a night out on how she looked nothing sexual or anything..
The reaction i got was like i had asked her to do the no pants dance

I've never subscribed to the theory that straight men want to be just friends with me. It's been my experience that they will always try to get sexual at some point - and no, I don't think I'm particularly irresistible. |

My default position is to assume every guy just wants to be my friend... I’m not good at reading signals which is why I like here... people are pretty direct and it’s safe to work in the basis they might be interested in you sexually... does being on here automatically make a lad a bad boy? |

Also compliment doesn't equal a compliment.
When someone notices your genuine effort or something about your personality - every single person will be happy to get it.
On other hand "nice tits" will always be passed as another dull remark.

I can honestly say being nice to someone has never been a bad thing in my expiriance. As far as I know.....
I think its used by some women to let guys down gently and by guys to explain away rejection.
