Is there something wrong with a simple hello and a few simple non egotistical, lack of bravado words when saying hi for the first time to somebody? Trying to be somebody you are not I think comes across in a message or am I wrong?  |

Nothing wrong with it but if its the same few simple words 10 or 15 other people have sent that day then whats the incentive to pick yours?
I dont think you need to be trying to be someone or something other than yourself. Just write a message you would find interesting of you got it yourself. |

Definitely never try to be someone your not op. The truth of it is, we can't be for everyone... Whether that's personality or looks etc so if you don't have any joy with one just move along to the next |

Nothing wrong with it at all,as long as you meet what the other person/persons are looking for.
Most look at your profile before opening and answering a message.
Don't match what we are looking for,then we don't feel an obligation to reply |

The whole crafting a unique mail is bollocks. Used to be all the rage a few years ago with regards to lack of success with online dating. Oh you're being generic etc etc.
Look, if you ain't someone's type crafting some big long message ain't gonna do jack.

I agree long winded and over trying messages can be off putting. Simple messages do the job for me once they are my kinda person I'll reply |
