A tad dramatic maybe 
Would you guys miss it if a closure order was placed by admin.
The general rule of thumb with online communities is 1% of the participants provide most of the content, 9% by participating regularly and the remaining 90% are lurkers 
What purpose does the forum serve for you?
Are we just nosey, and drawn to drama...
Do people actually believe that laying your personality out here will bring with it new encounters of the verification kind..
Please feel free to share your views..

I used to contribute a lot to the forums but since I came back on here 6 months ago I don't seem to be too interested in the majority of the topics.
Maybe it's just me having selective memory, but it seems there was a lot more variety in the topics a couple of years ago and they were great craic.
Now it seems to me that every second or third topic is just a rehash of a previous topic.
Still though, I'd rather have the forums than not. |

Yeah my forum posts are usually 'poster above' bollox, but its a bit of banter that gets people chatting.. more serious topics will eventually break down into a dissagreement and theres already enough negativity in real life

They(men mostly) soon realise the forums are here and start using them as they realise how heard it is to get a one to one convo going and replies to mails. The forum would be missed In my view. Great for a bit of "pass time". I think I'd leave if the forum went. |

It's lighthearted amusement for us. There are some users who seem to get terribly excited about dissenting opinions, makes for a fascinating study of human nature. And occasionally there is an actual discussion... |

I would probably be long gone of it wasnt for the forums.
Its why I originally came back after deleting my previous profile.
I enjoy the interactions it leads to and time to time there are some really interesting posts.
Its also an outlet for me taling shite which is nice.
It can get boring/repetitive/arsey but its enjoyable. |

There was a time i would have been part of the 1% that interacted here on the forum..its only when you step away or get pushed away that you realise how time consuming it can be.. Having said that i do enjoy the opportunity to interact with people here, and not in a sexual objectifiction way, but as a whole person, the forum can be a great channel for that from time to time.. |

I like reading your forum pages. I have commented in the past. Not often because I didn't think you lovely lot would approve due to me not coming from Ireland.
Have to say though, your threads are much more polite then most of English ones. Too much drama and spitfulness on those threads. |

A lot just seem to start a thread by asking a question just for the sake of it. Just for a bit of attention and exposure, the smell of want in some of them  a quick google could answer about 80% of the questions asked. But anyway no don’t get rid of the forums there’s the odd good thread |
