As above, take it easy on the booze. Dont be pushy as most likely you wont get to play. Just be yourself and do a bit of networking. Goes without saying look and dress well and smell well. Enjoy your first visit.

South Co. Dublin

1. Wear a clean newish pair of jocks as you'll likely be spending at least part of the evening with them on display.

2. Hydrate, hydrate and hydrate.

3. Be punctual

4. Try and make as many new friends as you can - open up, be chatty, get involved in the conversation. Mingle.

5. Be respectful of everyone

6. Its just like a normal party really minus the clothes and plus all the playing. Relax and chill out and you'll have a great time.

Yep, been there done that, don't drink to kill the nerves.

My wife did exactly that and wasn't very good for her ... she can't remember much from that night either!

Be as relaxed as possibly and be friendly (But not the creepy type of friendly) Non Pushy and Just enjoy it. Parties are the best part of this scene. Get the first one out of the way.

Yep, very good advice.

And don't be discouraged or disappointed if you don't score.

There is plenty of opportunities around.

I was under pressure, to prove to myself that I can do it with another woman .. as she would smell, look and act differently to my wife.

I was lucky to have my swinging cherry popped by a nice more experienced lady .. so I hope to be relaxed and enjoy the experience more next time.

But we all learn something every time ...

I am very curious to see who will be the first man to pop Bee's swinging cherry, as she is fussy and picky as fuck!

Remember nerves are a normal thing. If you get an invite turn up (the hardest part is actually turning up).

Don't drink too much as you want to remember the night.

Have no expectations of playing

Be sociable, have a laugh and have a good night

Why oh why do people need drink to meet people . If I went to meet someone and they had a lot of drink on . I would turn around and walk away . I like to be sober to enjoy myself .

Not everyone is relaxed and confident in their own skin.

Some drink in order to be able to relax and unfortunately lose control of it and go beyond that.

Others just drink because the drink is free and can't give a shit.

Lots of good advice here.

Just relax everyone is nervous.

One thing We learned is chat like they are your friends. Everyone wants to be chatted too and included so your not alone.

South Side.

Plan to arrive early. Don't drink alcohol. Dress to impress. If you're alone, chat to the guys(they all have wives, girlfriends). Be a good listener. Don't hog the pretty/good looking/younger ones. Share the love. Team up with a mate to compare notes afterwards. If you get a coffee date out of it.. You're a winner, and it will boost your confidence no end.
